Outrageous, this isn't even to see the doctor (that's $350)! It's tough when you can't afford insurance. We paid $230 in Indiana just 2 weeks ago. |

Ridiculous cost. I had a referral for an ambulatory visit to an x-ray clinic. They told me it typically costs around 110 dollars. Then sent a claim to my insurance for over 1100 dollars. I saw a bill that I paid to them for like 48 bucks and paid that assuming it had all been sorted out after insurance stuff, but nope there is a separate claim for over 1100 still. Not sure where the 48 dollar one even came from.. The whole thing took 10 minutes. There was nothing wrong either. My doctor just wanted to "rule it out." Never ever again. |

I went to an emergency room with excruciating pain for kidney stones. After 4 mg of morphine and 2 x-rays Blue Cross got billed $10,325. The x rays were $5624.49. BSBC actually went ahead and paid $7 k for this egregious overbilling |

Patient had a severe laceration on upper arm. They did 3 xrays and the patient was charged $1861.96, $1638.74 and $1645.99. Although covered by excellent insurance and was not required to pay for any of it, how do these amounts add up when reading the fair billing amounts. |

OUTRAGEOUS! This was at an outpatient clinic and it was for an 8 year old child! I have disputed the charge and plan to file a claim with the State Insurance Commissioner. |

I went in to see the doctor to consult on carpal tunnel. I already had been diagnosed with it by another doctor and was looking to proceed with surgery. Before the doctor even saw me, he ordered 4 views of each wrist. I was later told that an x-ray can't even really diagnose carpal tunnel. Needless to say, I'm not a happy camper. Not only am I out nearly $800, but the x-rays ordered were pointless. |

Was ordered to have xray of back. When I arrived I was asked exactly where I was having problems and I told them mid to upper back and neck. They done lower back only and was done by a student. Was asked to pull bra up around neck and after laying down and covered with a folded blanket (not big enough to cover a dog) was asked to undo pants and pull them down to upper thigh. I don't know about anyone else but that is a very hard task when someone is in severe pain; impossible if someone would happened to be disabled. All of this while 3 other young people stood in the next room just chit chatting like they were at a social event. So frustrated and in so much pain I didn't even care who was seeing what; I was ready to leave there. Havent made a complaint hospital yet but for sure will after receiving my bill. For that much money and for the peep show I gave everyone I should have been given a back massage and a glass of wine. |

I went into to Virtua Moorestown to get an x-ray of my toe, becasue I think I broke it. I was told the x-rays would cost at least $1,000, maybe more. Being uninsured, I opted not to get the x-ray. I have been trying not to put weight on it, so it will heel on its own. My employer is currently started to offering insurance-- the plan covers $25.00 for x-rays. |

As an x-ray tech myself, I am outraged at the audacity of this facility to charge this amount for 3 x-rays |

Had two shoulder x-rays and I was billed $1,124. When I phoned I was told that this is their billed amount. This was not an MRI! I had the same images taken in a different state and they were approximately 1/4 of this cost! This is outrageous! |

This facility just opened very close to us and my son landed awkwardly on his ankle. We weren't sure if it was broken or not and I had to leave town for work the next day so we stopped in. The care was good but prices after we got the bill were outrageous. 3x normal costs for crutches & air cast and much higher facility and x-ray costs than we have ever paid at a hospital ER. If we had known this up front we would have waited to go to urgent care the next day or gone to a hospital ER. We have a high deductible HSA plan so this ended up being all out of pocket for us. Total costs for the sprained ankle visit (~15 min with a doctor and not even ibuprofen given) ended up being over $2000. The lesson here is to ask up front what the costs are and don't blindly take everything they give you. We also paid $150 for a $25 set of crutches and over $200 for a $75 air cast. |

Ins Co. noted Charge Exceeds the contractual allowance per the contract. Ins. Co. also noted Charge exceeds the discounted percentage of the allowed amount.
