Insurance paid about 90% of the billed cost, but below is the breakdown of cost that our bills showed before insurance was applied.
Pathology: $250
Anesthesia $2521.65
Surgeon: $6,000.00
Hospital overnight stay: $15,165.98
Obviously the hospital stay was the largest portion so if you can get away without staying overnight you will save a ton of money. |
